A brake kit is definitely in my future before I do F/I.I say grab some exterior stuff now. The gears and the drive shaft are smaller priced, individual items that don't require anything else - that makes 'em quite a bit easier to save up for one at a time later on. If you have a small credit card, say up to 500-1000, just earmark it for your small parts, pay 3-6 times the monthly minimum each month, and when it's down to $0, grab a new item. I agree with you on the power, the car's awesome in that category as it stands - but I guess it's how you're wired - some people can't get enough of the go-fast pedal. I hope I never get used to the acceleration from this thing in 2nd gear. ![]() Good luck deciding!

I know, i know. Thats why I decided to hit performance big time when i get back. I may do alittle cosmetic stuff, but only if I have alittle money left over, after the KB or whipple.

whipple, full exhaust, springs, and some wheels of your choice. would look and perform like a million bucks.

My main focus is the KB or whipple, new driveshaft, gears, and torque converter. If i got any money left over i'll get some suspension stuff and maybe like a new spoiler or chin spoiler. Thats the plan for right now anyway. Can't do anything for a couple more months anyway.

I want to buy this grille for my car, but it comes without the pony insert. Does anybody know where i can buy this pony emblem? The grille is $114, which is the best deal i've found on a grille.

KB offers a discount to the military if you didn't know. that might help you make your mind up a bit better. someone on here said they got the KB kit for $5300 which is a killer deal. all you have to do is change a pulley for more boost if you have your bottom done. i'll do performance long before looks every day. i of course like the idea of a sleeper much more than one with a body kit that is no faster than anything else in the same category. i am lowered with wheels and some wide dark blue metallic vynil stripes and i get looks and jaw drops quite often. if i do ever decide to go with a different body kit it would be after there was very very much go to bring to the board. maybe after i do the bottom end and get it sc'ed. i could see having a look saying "i will murder you" if you have the power to back it up. Thanks for the reminder on the KB kit. It is my top choice right now, $5300 price range is an awesome deal. The only thing i don't like about their kit is the boost-a-pump that comes with it, i would much prefer a gt500 fuel pump. My main priority when i get back is power, done right.

I don't understand why shelbyperformanceparts.com has the pony on the grille in the picture, but don't sell it anywhere on there site.

Are you absolutely set on that particular emblem? 'Cause a couple places (American Muscle and others) have painted versions of the regular grill pony I'd guess you could fit on the side with some ingenuity. And yeah, that is a great price for the grill, nice find.
