How much $$$ to have cams installed in my car and tuned?

Im trying to figure out how much $$ all together it is going to cost me to put BBR stage 2 cams in my car. Im pretty sure i need vavle springs and retainers. It also says on there website you need 4.10 or higher gears. Is that truely needed? Also there is the tune. Someone wanna take a wild guess on how much money it is going to cost all together including labor costs.

Thanks!

Not including the cams i'd say 1500 to $2000. Cams are a very expensive install and require an experienced mechanic to pull the motor to properly degree them. Might as well throw in some forged pistons and ported heads while the motor is out. The 4.10 requirement means you will loose a chunk of low end TQ for the higher hp it gives on the top end.

The motor doesn't come out. I would say around $2400 for everything including 4.10 gears. The 4.10s will make the car feel much faster. The only thing is you lose a little bit of top end. The 4.10s are so that the car doesn't stall in normal driving, and they get it into the range where the cams make the most power.
