Rear brake pad install problem


I just installed drilled and slotted rotors on my 06. I couldn't get the pistons pressed back in on the rear calipers enough to get the new pads on. I had no issue with the front.HELP!!!

Don't know if you tried this or not, but the pistons on the rear calipers have to be turned as they are pressed in, like you're scewing them back into the caliper. Hope this helps...

That is correct and you may need a special tool to accomplish this.

I was wondering what those notches in the face of the piston were....Damn...Well I guess I can borrow one from O'riley....Thanks for the replies...
