Why is it you cannot put cobra emblem on Shelby?

I understand that putting on the cobra emblem on a non cobra is gay!! Why is it that you cannot put the cobra emblem on a shelby GT.... It is made by carroll shelby and his emblem... Why is it that putting an emblem on a true shelby gay?

it's not an SVT product.

granted the snake is shelbys but shelby also only used to put it on the very best of Mustangs.

I guess he is in need of some cash

But not all cobra's are SVT's, please explain...

The snake is reserved for the big huncho... even if the Shelby GT is made by Shlby... all it is is a normal GT with a CAI... its like putting Z06 badges on a base vette... or putting a Type-R logo on a EX honda

it has the cobra emblem right smack dab on the middle of the steering wheel. I know for a fact because a buddy of mine has one. its a cobra.

because this is the ONLY one that still exists, only 2 were ever made.

alright while thats still true they make exact replica's of those two cars. And if you know what you are talking about you should know what the original colors of the two cobra's as well as their emblems.. In fact go to google and look up 1966 shelby COBRA you may find your answer..

a replica AC cobra is fine.. I see them all the time.

In fact I know of a guy names Sergio that likes to to 03 Terminator motors in them.
the 2 Cobras that were made deserve to have the Cobra emblem on them.
2 made
800 HP

that calls out "top dog" to me.

317HP GT mustang doesn't. .. but that's my opinion.
I really don't need to find an answer on what color the 2 cars were.
I will never own one because frankly.. I don't have 5 and a hald million dollars to spend on one.
If you want to put a snake on your car.. no one is stopping you

in the end... all the shelby GT is a normal GT with a FRPP CAI, hurst shifter, and light cosmetic changes... it doesn't scream cobra in any way.

ok, i understand with the little amount of horse power that the shelby GT has technically you cannot call it a cobra... Assuming someone upgraded that car to perform like a cobra it would be a different scenario?
