2007 Blower Problem

My dad has a 2007 mustang gt california special. Pics will come soon. He has an o/r h pipe, flowmaster catback, and a Brenspeed intercooled paxton supercharger package. The thing is installed and everything, and she was fine for like the 7 months we have her her going. When i say fine i mean lightning fast but worked perfectly as well. Now, within the past month, when i come off the car when i jump on it as hard as i can (60-125) and let off, the damn thing stalls on me, it starts right back up but the thing stalls when ni come off of heavy accel again. Then, the engine light comes up after 2-3 times, and when i read the code its an error. I think the problem is when the backpressure gets dumped back in the MAF gets all screwed up.. Is their anything i can buy the either send the backpressure somewhere else? What else can i do??

Mine lurched like that and set off the wrench light before I gapped the plugs, maybe look into that.

If the problem started after it was working fine its not a design issue. What is the code for? I would not go WOT till you figure out what is going on. Datalogging will help a lot in the diagnosis.

Sounds like backwash, I have it on my turbocharged S197. My tuner couldn't do a whole lotabout it so you kinda after to learn how to drive it a different way

But his used to work perfect. Backwash does not just start out of nowhere, its a design issue.

Check everything over, have temperatures been dramtically changed in your area?

Crank the car up with the hood open and see if you can hear any hissing noise, the air intake manifolds are not the strongest Cracked mine with only 7lbs of boost.

Mine didn't start doing what you're describing until it started getting cold...plug gap might be worth a look. It sounds like a misfire in one or more of the cylinders. Did you pull the codes out of the PCM yet?
