I've had the gears know for about a month and they are so freakin fun. The car starts to pull well before the powerband, the higher rpm's are barely noticeable.

But the part I enjoy the most is the tight feeling of the drivetrain. When pulling away from a light or a stop sign, the car takes off as smoothly as a porsche. I don't need to give the rpm's a second thought, just ease the clutch out, a tiny bit of throttle, and the car starts to move on it's own. Then give it the gas and smile. Parking is also much easier now particularly on inclines because, again, the car starts to move when the clutch is let out. I think this is a really good ratio for the city. Not sure what to do next. I need a programmer to change the speedo, but I'd rather get a drive shaft and shifter. I'm going to try and squeeze in springs soon.

Don't fear the Gear is the coolest saying!
If you get you 4.10's to hookup , then you are driving a rocket!
I love having a traction problem, I guess it's a man thing!

That might be a small problem. Right now I'm on DR so traction is only a minor problem until mid second gear. Just like when I was on stock tires and 3.55's. However, I hydroplaned going 40 two weeks ago ($3500 in damage) so I'm going to ditch thess before next winter. I'd like to find another drag radial, or grippy performance tire that is solid in mild seasonal rain, and a tread life of at least 8-10k miles. I was thinking of the firestone wide oval 285/40/17.

I'm not going to click on that one until tomorrow. Tomorrow is Sunday, and a new calender week. My Rick role tally will be clean enough to take a chance.

You said it, a guy at the cigar shop I frequent has an older saleen. When he asked about the gears I gave him the same schpeal I gave you guys and ended with "mustangs should come from the factory with 4.10's".

Daniel at NextGen says with a smile, get 4.30's.
