got a new exhaust for ya. i switched from boomtubes to MBRP deletes. i also have BBK LT's, BBK o/r x-pipe. now it is much louder, deeper, and hollower sounding. the first clip is cold start after install so give it 30 seconds or so to mellow out. the 2nd clip is just cruzing around, no WOT, listen for the deep crackling when i downshift to 2nd. be careful, it is loud!

changed my exhaust again for the 5th time a few weeks ago heres some vids
BBK LT's, BBK o/r x-pipe, MBRP deletes, M80 mufflers welded before the rear end. |

when I get my bullitt back up to speed all of you can hear the amazingness of all bassani exhaust. Longtubes, shorty catted x-pipe, with the race axle backs. It will turn all who listen to it into sexual tyrannosaurus'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Time to update mine. Now the Bassani LT headers, Bassani catted-X pipe, & Bassani Street mufflers.
The headers didn't change the sound, much to my surprise. These mufflers are just the right drone-to-depth compromise for me. The Stingers I used to have (a few posts above) were sexier, but they droned my eyeballs out. These Bassani Street's sound pretty darn good and they do drone but at a tolerable level to me. Here's my drone video, although its tough to appreciate how much or how little there is without actually being there. I'd be curious to see what Bassani Race would be like, but after owning Stingers I didn't want to chance another loud droning muffler. Shameless plug: if anybody wants something more aggressive than stock with no drone, buy my GTA's. Video on those is a few posts up. PM me on that.

ive settled on it.Mac catted pro chamber with basani axle backs.Not as loud as the stingers but the tone is niiiice.found them on latemodelrestoration they have a couple vids there cant seem to post them here tho.they have two listed one is stainless and the othe aluminized steel.Same soud but pirce is diff.

its sounds very quiet in person and is very hollow sounding like a chambered muffler. I have some Cherry Bomb/IMCO extremes on the way so it wont stay this quiet for long.

This is a GREAT thread....I've decided.
 I want headers and x to my FRPP's BUT let me add my FRPP M5230-5GT are 4" not 3.5" as first post so maybe they've changed?? I will do all FRPP parts sweet sounds and reps for this thread.

Idling with the previous build, but car shouldn't sound too different with same cams (comp SPR 127650), exhaust etc. Car is no longer street legal nor streetable now.
