Comp Cams?


2005 mustang gt auto box

hi people

i was just gona ask what do you lot think of comp cams because im gona get the xtreme energy stange 1 (1000rpm to 5500rpm)

what do you think ? do they work well on are engines

bbk ceramic short headers
magnaflow x pipe with racing cats
magnaflow Cat-Back Exhaust System
bbk 62mm twin throttle body
moto blue pulley kit
Max MicroTuner
ford racing 4.10 gears

the ones you are looking at were (XE253H-114) right?

Gross Lift Intake- .480, Exhaust- .470
Duration Intake- 253°, Exhaust- 270°

they are supposed to work with the new VCT, but from my understanding spring upgrades and tuning are recommended

haven't seen any videos yet of them, the only one i have seen is of the blowbyracing.com LNR mustang with their race cams, but they do sell the comp cam ones too i think; http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...2032&q=mustang

i run comps in my 2v engine and they work great. always change the springs. and youll def need a tune after its done!

Guys please just give me a little help here. I know about the dependants of what my car has so just click on my signature link below to go to my garage. Then tell me what nice clunky cam I should get because I want to have that nice CLUNK CLUNK CLUNK sound you know. THinking about Comp cams...
