Gt500

so im sitting here reading feb 2008 issue of mustang monthly and theyre testing the effects of Corsa Exhaust on an 07 GT500

they are saying they dyno'd a stock GT500 at 346.7 rwhp at 5,810rpm and 361.9 lb-ft of torque at 4,470rpm....

is the GT500 really losing 154hp through the flywheel or what?

No, definetly not. There is no way that it is losing that much power. They must have replaced the 4 with a 3.

I have seen the GT500 dyno at anywhere from 415 (17% driveline loss) up to around the 450 mark. As I was reading this same article, the same question you had posed itsself to me. It seems rather hard to believe the number could be that low. At least it was consistent throughout the testing and we could see how much difference the corsa exhaust made. Not half bad for an axle back.

I've had a few come in at high 390s but they were very very hot. Most will make 420-460rwhp stock.

Here are results from one on a warm september day back in 06
