first mod!!!

Well guys just installed the C&L Racer Intake w/ Predator Tune, I can tell the car is running better just cant really tell how much because it has been raining and the roads are wet so there is little traction. One question is any body running a o/r h pipe with stock mufflers? I was just figuring if no mufflers make any more hp than the stockers this might be a valid option for me because I would like to keep a stock appearing car. Congrats on your first mod. I'm sure you will notice a decent performance difference once you finally get a dry day. Be careful about going without any mufflers as most states do not alow this.

I dont think he is removing the mufflers ...just wanting to keep the stockers on the back while going to a O/R mid pipe. Right?

thats right pro, i just want a o/r h pipe seems like a good bang for the buck mod and if i can make the same hp with the stock mufflers i would be money ahead. jared

go to brenspeed.com. Click on sound files, they have a couple o/r setups with the stock axle backs. I never listened to them and am not sure what the setups are but I remember seeing them.

i really like the sound of the o/r x with the stock mufflers. I think that will be the next mod!

Check out the "Official S197 Exhaust Sound Thread" sticky at the top of the page. There ar a few clips of the stock mufflers on there.
