Was just reading an article in Mustangs and fast fords...
The tested AEM...vs...Steeda.....vs....WMS...
And this is a good test because it's not on a dyno (dyno's don't win races, sometimes to get a 2 hp increase at a certain rpm, there giving up mid range torque...not good))..
The car was stock with 20 inch wheels.Outside Air temp, oil temp etc were stickly monitored, and even the air/fuel ratios were monitored to make as identical as possible.3 passes on each intake.
DA - 1434 feet above sea-level-
Stock..........................13.85 @ 97.28
AEM brute force...........13.83 @ 97.40
Steeda High Volocity...13.76 @ 98.14
WMS.........................13.69 @ 98.68 even though the DA shot up to 2366 feet, and also had the lowest 60 ft times. This intake will most likely respond even better with a few mods and really seperate itself from the others..It also gives the IAT a fixed temp signal of 77* which directly influences power gains.I like it too because it comes straight of the t-body to the front grill, has a modified raditaor cover.Comes with an SCT tuner also.

Me too,the less bends the better.......
Check out their long tube hedders...man this must have taken alot of fabrication, test and tune hours..The don't copy others designs, the start from scratch and want to make the best product...For the record,i don't work for them...lol

ChrisJ i think you kinda have to go by the 1/4mile times here the C&L make more horse than the WMS but the WMS is a ram style intake so the faster you go the more air you would be getting, than when parked on a dyno.
and the WMS doesnt need a tune, but might as well. i found it on Brenspeed.com and it looks the cheapest and they are sapposed to be good tuners at brenspeed. this is the intake i will buy when i happen to find 675 bucks extra in the bank!!!!
