Transmission Problems!

I am having problems with my 5 speed tranmission. I was wondering if anyone had or knew someone with a six speed.

If its still under warranty then you dealer will fix it for free.
I remember someone had a link to an S197 with a 6 speed but I dont remember where. Maybe they will chime in shortly

Transmission Problems!

Well the syncronizers went out on second gear and now the dealership is saying that i need 1st and 2nd gear syncros. the repairs are 10HRS x $42.00 hr. and the parts are $520.00. The total for repairs is $1,149.00 and as a favor they are going to install my centerforce dual friction clutch and my pro 5.0 shifter. I figured that wasnt bad!

Well everyone I have talked to has said that the 5 speed in these cars really sucks. Also most of the stang owners i hang with are all experiencing a sencond gear problem.
