Parking Lot Woes...waging war

Ok, so today my wife and I take a trip to Lowe's...upon exiting...we're nearing my car and I'm like WTF?!?! This white van was parked SO close to me I literally could not open my door enough for me to get in. I'm not a big guy (5'8" 150lbs) and I HONESTLY could not get in and literally had to climb in through the passenger side. But before doing so I thought I'd leave a nice note to express my sentiment for this excuse of a human being....it was either this or leave the decorative bricks I just bought somewhere on his dashboard among shards of glass....enjoy.

Yeah, she was ready to go home and it was just starting to rain. And not that I didn't WANT to take a shit on his hood...I left the note as a compromise instead of kicking in a quarter panel....

Ha, nice note! I've left those before, but typically a bit more sarcastic. I know exactly how you feel, it's not like it's difficult for the guy to see he was gonna block your door.

Be thankful: he could have needed something from that side door after parking and opened it into your driver door. Don't laugh, that happened to me the day after I bought my Mustang.

you could try parking in a less crowded place next time.

I'm sure you would feel very good about yourself if the person driving that van was a 70 year old War vet.

I always do the same ^... I park in the back corner and walk a mile to get to the store. If I was anymore anal about door dings and what not, I would drive around then park my car at home in the garage and walk to the store...

You both appear to be parked within the spaces...maybe the spaces are to narrow. They should be a minimum for 9' wide. Just park further away from the store next time (I do)...I need the exercise. lol

Hey, I understand, but at least he was inside his line, I've actually come out to find someone had parked so crooked next to me that I had to pull up and back a few inches at a time while turning the wheel, just to get around the rear of their car and out of my space! Maybe I'm just overly considerate, but I always try to make sure I've left enough room for the person next to me to get in/out of their car, that also gives the added benefit, hopefully, of preventing the dreaded door ding.

As far as it possibly being a 70 year old war vet, well, my hat's off to him/her for their service, but that doesn't excuse thoughtlessness.

if i were u i woulda gave that fender a nice kick.

as for not saying anything to an old lady.. fuck that, in todays world old ladies think they are the fuckin queen of england and are always right.

i was in manhattan in bumper to bumper traffic and u have to take every inch u can so no1 cuts u off and so i happen to fall in the white lines where pple walk, so this old lady is walkin by and says who taught u how to drive... i was shocked at first and i said my fuckin father bitch, why arent u driving?.... she said kids these days.. i replied wow ur 97 years old and ur mom still didnt teach u manners, after i said that she just kept walkin away shaking her head. kinda stupid, kinda regret it but i was pissed off like i always am when im driving in Manhattan traffic

believe me if ur in bumper to bumper traffic with taxi drivers about to hit ur car ur already pissed off then to have an old lady mouth off at u... it was justified because of how she acted.

haha /fail for typo on hate note...douce...hahaha. That's what happens when I write too fast...

As far as him being inside of the lines....that wasn't the problem...he had a good couple of feet between him and the car on the other side..he just wasn't considerate enough to notice that he was parked too far to the right in his spot. I mean atleast he was IN his spot and I am grateful that there wasn't a dent or ding on my side (trust me I checked) or else I would probably have done something that I would have regretted. I don't regret the note even if it WAS a 70 year old war vet. I'm a war vet and one day I'll be 70 years old (God willing) and if I haven't learned to park by then I'm sure some asshole like me is gonna leave a note too....

I always park along ways out in parking lots to avoid door dings.
