Rear Suspension

Hey so I was bidding on these last night, seemed like a good deal. But my question is, Is this how the rear suspension is set-up. On ebay its a coilover setup on the rear. This set up is made by FRPP. I thought in the rear the springs and shocks were set apart seperately.

the rear springs are seperated from the shocks in the rear. I think the suspension picture you posted is more for drag racing but I'm not too sure

i didn't realize it was a ford racing product. That's really weird. I don't think I've heard of people even running the FRPP set up like that.

haha yea. I mean I'm sure its a possibility. I don't really know much about ford racing products, but when I've seen set ups like that I'm almost sure it usually is a drag type of suspension.

These parts are part of the FR3 handling pack from Ford Racing. Not a drag setup, but more of a road course setup. This is standard on my SGT. Springs will lower the car by an inch and a half. Also be fore-warned that lowering the car will offset your rear wheels about 3/4 of an inch to the left. The way to correct this is with an adjustable panhard rod or watts link. See these links for more info.
