Wait you'd actually pay $500 for a f%$^ing axel back exahust kit? If so I'll sell you mine since you're going to get hustled. I bought SLP loud mouths for less than half that cost and set off my friends car alarm with just the stock car and those badasses on. I say screw the $500 borla/frpp bs and get the loudmouths. Amazing sound and price and since they're basically muffler deletes I doubt that there is a superior back pressure axel back exhaust out there

The FRPP's are not $500, and they sound better than the SLP's

+1 frpp's have a nice throaty exhaust note, slp's to me sound obnoxious.

The SLP sounded good in the vid on the yellow one, the blue on had the most crooked tailpipes I have ever seen

Honestly, I've got the SLP loudmouth axel back and I think they are superior to the Borla. (I was at a light next to a S197 with Borla axel back and there was no comparison). Also, look on ebay, the SLPs should be like $370 on there with a dollar shipping. Thats where I got mine and they shipped quickly and were perfect. $50 install later at my local muffler shop and I was good to go. Don't waste the extra $150 on the Borla name brand...

It really depends on what sound you want. the stingers sound real good. Not as loud as a loudmouth but sound good. Plus you can get them cheaper than 500 brand new.

You could get them for about 450 maybe cheaper. And you are right the stingers from ford have 3.5 tip now and from borla they have 4". but that is not going to affect sound. I would pay 450 for stinger before i would pay 370 for slp loudmouths. You want the stingers louder throw an xpipe on there.

From what I remember the kit # 11750 is a dual rear exit but is not split which means both would exit out the same side of the rear.

Look at Borla exhaust kits on speedyperformanceparts.com

I couldnt figure out the difference between the kits when I was ordering mine so I called them and thats what the customer service rep told me. Hope that helps.

Sounds like you were looking at the v6 dual kit.

I would like to see that stang.

I have been listening to the sticky thread, researching exhaust notes on youtube. researching price and the sound I say I like the most are the frpp's. They have the sound I want, not the obnoxious sound of an slp or drone.

leebunnyz,

Which system is just the axle back. My kit (#140135) came with everything from the midpipe back. I thought that was considered a catback system. Is that wrong?

what the thread starter is trying to get are just axlebacks, you have the full catback system.

there is a differance between borla and frpp! I hate it when everyone says they are the same. borla has a 4" tip, while frpp ones on have a 3.5. That's a big deal to some people.

if you only want the rear section, then thats a good buy i guess. but keep in mind, its not a catback system.
