Lead the way... In case you didnt notice, I live in IOWA. <<This place (iowa) sucks when it comes to anything custom & car related.. Brenspeed is one of my choices because they are in Ill, & Baba is a choice because it is in Oklahoma. Both with in driving distance if I feel the need. If you know of a good shop with a dyno that does custom tunes closer to me Id be happy to know of them.

07 Stang,and Ponie are right the only true Custom tune is with a tuner on the Dyno...The rest are canned tunes.I got mine from SCT,and I am very happy with it...But when all my goodies come in it will be a custom tune at Lamotta's Performance...

When you guys talk about a dyno tune does that mean you won't have to buy a handheld tuner? I live 5 miles away from Modular Depot and they said they'd dynotune my car for $125 and keep a copy of the tune in their files. They also just developed a new cai that looks very high quaility. My car is stock right now and with the new Ford Bullett intake and the adaptive tune coming out (i'm not sure if it's Steeda or Rousch) I'm not sure which way to go; but if I didn't have to buy an SCT or Preditor a dynotune might be the way to go.

a dynotune is 10x better then canned tunes from a handheld tuner, it just that most people have to drive far for a dyno so they buy a predator or xcal.

If you want a company that will really try to help you, wont leave you to rot, immediate call backs, great powerful tunes.. go with brenspeed. I have not heard problems with brenspeed OR bama, but i would never switch, brenspeed is perfect. Brent and Dave both go out of their way for me quite often

I'll drive all the way to OK for him to tune my car if I ever want to up the boost on my car. I'm sticking up for doug for those who've bashed him and turned him down, cause you know what, he deserves all the respect in the world, cause he works harder than those at Brenspeed or trick tunes. Brent is good and may have quick callbacks, but he's got a shop and the manpower or personel to do it. Doug just prefers to work alone. He would rather work on your tune than someone else if they were working for him. Doug is truely a remarkable guy and I will stick up for him no matter where I go or any boards or threads that bash him, and I'm sure others who use him will too. Once again, my vote, Bamachips! Patience is a virtue, and you will be more than please with his incredible tunes.

He may work hard, but thats not an excuse to make me wait a month to get my product. Doug does not treat all customers the same either. I don't like him and will never deal with him again. When you had a problem with your tuner you said he overnighted you a new tuner. he waited a while after he recieved my broke one to send me a new one out. Dougs bashings is deserved. If i pay $560 for something, you shouldn't be in business if it takes you over a month to get a working product to me.

Its good that your sticking up for him. But i'm a business owner and the fact is that if he is that busy he should have already gotten help. Thats business and customer service is everything. Brenspeed tunes are just as good, and they answer the phone. I wish Doug luck, if you want to help he then tell him its time to step it up a notch or market less.

Doesnt really matter if you sell the best product in the world or are the smartest person in the world. Everybody and their cousin is in this business now and the only real way to seperate yourself from your competition is customer service.
