white smoke if it goes away is not a big problem. The temperature combined with a free flowing exhaust condences the exhaust gasses, making the white "smoke" you see. unless it is excessive then dont worry about it too much. How many times have you had your oil changed???

If you're using 5w-20 you will consume oil over the life of an oil change ... but you shouldn't see it in your exhaust ... instead your dipstick will show it. With no cats your exhaust will be a little different looking/smelling ... I would rely on the dipstick to tell the tale. BTW, your car warranty DOES NOT cover oil consumption ... it covers lots of things that may result in oil consumption if they break ... but oil consumption itself is not something you'll get a claim on. Read the warranty close ... its in there.

my car has the heavy fuel smell that you complain about.........the smoke isn't a problem, its normal condensation. Also every now and then my car will have a "burning oil smell"...........it might last for a day, it might last for a week. I have no idea what is causing it or why, but the A/F ratios are perfect so im not worried about it. maybe i need a seperator, but i dont see why i would. Only thing i can think of is the extra RPMs i turn with the cam setup maybe causing a little excess blow by.

as long as you live in fairly normal climates i would run 5w-20, its what ford recommends, why not??? but i hope this doesnt turn into an oil thread haha.....
I think you are just a little paranoid piggy, i was the same way. almost 40k miles on my car now.

I run german castrol... GOOD shit.
on a side note.. if your BURNING oil, your exhaust tips will have unburnt oil on them... either from ring blow by or valve guide wear... only two way's oil is getting in the chamber. |

post the vids and I can tell you having had my car in cold weather for 2 years with modded exhaust, if there is something wrong. And if you are running rich the fuel smell will be coming out anyways.
