05 GT installing BMR rear end poly bushing, having problems

I'm installing BMR EN-1 polyurethane rear end bushing. Trying to get old rubber bushing out. Used a hole saw to get inner bolt sleeve out.

Problem is, I do not know if I need to scrape the rest of the rubber out fo the outer bushing sleeve, or to remove the outer sleeve completely. The outer sleeve the BMR bushing appear to be the same diameter. The remaining ruuber in the sleeve is ridiculously difficult to get out. So is the outer sleeve. I actually think I may need a new outer sleeve anyway, as I tried removing it, with a brass bar and a hammer.......odd that the brass actually dented and dinged up the sleeve. I sure hope this part is removable and Ford has a new sleeve. It would be even better if I didn't need the sleeve.

Sorry.

More info...........

This bushing is located on top of the differential. The diff is cast with this space to mount the UCA to, a steel sleeve and a rubber bushing are pressed in. BMR makes a poly bushing replacement for this.

The first photo is the BMR bushing I purchased.

The second photo is the best I could find to explain where the bushing goes............it's directly above his right hand (actually the black thing with a hole in it between his hands); the UCA (in his left hand) bolts here as well.

Sorry, don't have an operable camera of my own.
