H-Pipe On My '07?

Does anyone have an H-Pipe on their new GT that could tell me if it sounds good or not?? I am debating between the X-pipe. I have heard plenty of X's to know that I am not sure if I like it.... its a little too ricey and raspy for me. Is the H just as loud? does it have a deeper sound? Any help would be appreciated I am thinking of going with the pypes H or X with stock Axle back for now.

I can let you know tomorrow as I am having them install a Pypes Catless X-pipe and 4:10's in the morning. I have hesitated to go with the H or X due to riding in pre 2005 Gt's with aftermarket pipes that cause a bad drone in the interior. Some guys on the street and on this site have told me that on the new ones it's not that bad. This is probably in part due to the mufflers being after the axle and a little further from the cocpit. I will let you know.

the h pipe will still be loud but it will have a deeper tone. your still going to get some crackling if you go with o/r pipes

Okay, had the Pypes Catless X-pipe and 4:10's installed today with my exhisting C&L, SCT tune, and Mac Mufflers. The exhaust note sounds great, raspy, just like I wanted it, however it is loud and I may eventually put the stock mufflers back on. The good news is that there is almost no interior drone at all. The bad news is my SCT was an earlier model and it hasn't been updated to change the "Gear ratio" for the 4:10's. Other than that it sounds great and runs great. I think the next step is to have it Dyno tuned locally.

The H-pipe is going to be deeper...the x-pipe is going to be higher pitched...

I have installed a few and the interior noise is not bad...

X pipes

I had full length headers and an X pipe, and with either Magnaflows or Flowmasters, at about 2000 rpm the resonance inside the cockpit was so loud you couldn't even hear the radio - turned up.

how did you fix that? I am thinking about putting the factory mufflers on to see if that does it.
