I mean its up to you, if you can sell the one you have and get your money back then i guess its a wash and doest really matter.

Honestly i dont know much about your cai though and if it even is the one i looked at. Simple thing for you to find out is what is the flow of your cai as compared to the jlt, if they flow the same then the power is the same, period. Only other thing to look at would be the inlet air temp, and the only company that mentions inlet air temp is steeda, becuase they are the only ones with numbers worth mentioning.

One question i have always had about the jlt is how does it seal to your hood, i dont see a rubber strip or anything on the top? how is it keeping the hot air from your engine bay out? Maybe some jlt guys on this site could answer that.

One thing i do like about JLTs numbers though is that if you look at their dynos, the mixture before and after is always the same sometimes their tunes were even richer then before. they are not useing the lets dyno a real rich car and then lean it way the fuck out and say wow look at this cai we gained 30hp. No shit, you think so? the power gains were from purely adding more air and more fuel, not screwing with mixtures.

the bad thing about the jlt website is they claim 28 to 34 hp for the 05 to 08 gt, but where is the dyno sheet, they have a dyno sheet for everything else, and all the previous model stangs to include the mach the gains were only 15, so if your biggest gains ever were with the s197, why not have that sheet up?

One thing is for sure, you will love the 93 octane tune and the under drive pulleys.

i'd go with UDPs and 93 tune too, save new cai for later cuz they're gonna be close regardless....maybe 5hp difference at the max

I went from a Brute Force to a JLT on a 2v and it gave me more than 5 HP so it should give a 3v more.

Are you talking both with the same tunes? just the cai switch gave you power. I dont know anything about his cai, he doesnt have a tune with it. what is the cfm on that brute force.

Show them the pics for the size difference. That alone is huge, and shows why the JLT flows alot more air.
