Looks good, collector item. Not much more performance than a base GT

I have been looking at the Shelby GT and the California Special. It seems they both have the same front and rear end fascias, sidescoops and 18" wheels. The Shelby gets you the unique riveted front hood scoop and autographed plaque. Anything else visually?

I agree. One of the most subtle and beautiful combos are silver stripes on white. That is the only way I could go with a white car.

I think they look sweet and they're a nice little jump from the stock GTs. Finding one at a fair price is the tricky part.

Another perk to owning one is that you can be a member of the shelby club which allows you to race at the shelby events.

I loved them until I actually test drove one... I wasn't really impressed with the performance for the price compared to a stock gt... was just a lot louder.

The performance is nearly identical to a GT. They look good, but that doesn't justify the price difference for me.

+1, the only reason I'd buy it is cause it will prolly go up in value if kept right.
