You are not going to see a big hp from a shaker. It is mainly done for the look. You will get a little fresh air but it will not be worth the money if that is the reason you are doing it. Do a search, not a month ago one of our members did a write-up of installing one on his 05-07. Very imformative. He could give you the pricing info as well.

As said above this more show than go, you will not really gain a noticable ammount of HP.
The average price for these are $795 + SH.
If you are doing it for gain you should invest your money in something else, I put it on my car because I have always liked the way it looks since seeing them on the 69/70 mustangs. and since the 05-07 has a similar long wide hood it fits good

I'm one of a couple that installed a Shaker system.

Here's the link to my step-by-step.

I didn't get any noticeable hp though they claim 10-15 but I did get 2 extra mpg with cruise control set at 75 . I did it for the looks and am sure I'll do it again if I ever get another mustang.

ya i didnt think i would get that much of hp gain but i've never had a shaker in any of my 3 mustangs so i wasnt sure as far as the mpg any increase is a plus

and i like the classic look thats the main reason i was thinking about it
at first i was thinking bout puttin the 20in rims on it and the body kit and s**t

but now i just want to keep it classic with some mickey tompson streets, blacked out tail-lid and the shaker
