Did you get a tune for the 4.10 gears? It's a must!

It's a 3-1 downshift bump. It's pretty much nature of the beast w/ the newer 4r70W or 4r75W transmissions. The 4.10 gears probably aggrevate it.

box noise

my auto box was making that noise b4 all my mods on the car me thinking after i do them it mite go away even ford dont knw what it is. but i tell you one things when i put the 62mm throttle body on there it did help for a bit. i saw that the throttle body would make it rev a bit more b4 it changes down a gear then a week later it started agen.

That happens to me only when I floor it and then quickly hit the brakes. I wouldn’t say it’s a noise rather it seems like a bump or kind of push. Definitely more pronounced after 4.10 install.

I don't know the cause but I have the same thing after installing Superchips 1755 max micro tuner tune.

It does it when slowing down to a stop, mainly last two gear drops before stop.

I'm from the UK so have very limited help even from ford so would be interested to know if I'm causing damage!!!

Mines a 05 Auto GT only power mods being the tuner and BBK cold air intake, but its also on 20's and lowered via Eibach springs, this tuner has given another problem but I'll go start a thread as I don't wanna appear to hijack the thread
