but u will be able to tell it has cams correct? u have the bigger ones though right?

And also.

- Does that stick require stiffer springs. If so, do they come with that cam, if not, how much are they?
- Any other additional parts needed or suggested with this while the top end is apart.
- I still have stock manifolds. Other than the obvious power difference, will the 127200 work ok with the stock manifolds until I get my hands on shorties or LT's?
- Tuning. I'm assuming I would have to adjust my tune. I have a Predator. If tuning is needed, do you provide a tune to match the new stick, or should I go with my existing tuner who sold me the Predator (Bama) for the tune?

Dont qoute me on that shipping price, but its what i came up with online but im doing a couple things at once still on hold.

No springs required.

Only other part you need is cam phaser bolts. I think their 6 bucks.

Yea they are going to work with stock manifold. Those hp numbers comp gave me are on totally stock car. they said the 127200 could see 30hp on stock car with no tune and 40 with headers and tune. and that is not add the headers and get 10 more. it was on a car that already had headers

No im not a tuner and dont have a tune for it. Brenspeed does not have a tune for the nsr cams if you buy them from them. I dont know if bama does. I dont see how they would have one, thats something that if you wanted to try to maximize the gains like comp was talking about, you need a dyno tune. But you dont need a tune.

recomend to compliment the cams....... you could get the race delete plates, you would need a tune for them, they could help with the cams, im not sold to be honest with you. But in theory.......

perhaps the c&l racer intake with the higher flow and a throttle body if you get it working right. anything to help with more air.

LOL on hold forever for them to not know the part number of that tool. OTC makes it for ford. Ill ask the guy that did my cams, he isnt answering though.

Thank you. I already have an Airaid cai, the one with the removable venturi, so I believe I have plenty of airflow possibility.

I appreciate you doing all this. Really seems like you put effort in to the research and info on everything. When you can, throw me a price on the 127200 and also on the delete plates. If I can afford it, I may just go for this.

Why cam phaser bolts? Are you required to disable the cam phasers with these cams?

I called Bamachips earlier and I think he said he can get you a tune for the NSR cams. Thats who I got my JLT from so the tune would be free if I'm right.

Hey 07stanggt, do you have a link on those cam phaser bolts

I dont have a link, its a ford part you just need a new one when you change the cam. the part number is 3l3z6279dA from ford. I will sell it to you and send it with the cams or you can get it from your dealership. or the shop who installs your cams will probably have it. I just dont have my price, i just got these cams today. I Know i was charged 25 bucks for both of them when i bought my cams from brenspeed but maybe i can do better.

Yes you will be able to tell it has cams. The videos dont do them justice but its a rougher idle, you will notice it right away. And yes I have one set of stage III or 127300 cams with springs as well. I am a direct dealer with comp so I can get you any comp cam you want. I just stocked the nsr cams becuase I think they will sell faster, and im a huge fan of them. Like i said the money you save will make you feel like you cheated the man.

Also to answer the questions about the phaser bolt. I have the part # for those that were asking what it was, pm me. It is just a replacement bolt that holds the cam in. its just that your only suppose to TQ these bolts once, so like underdrive pulleys you need a new bolt, i can sell it to you or you can get it at the dealership.

Only other thing you need is grease, and time

Yes they work well with F/I

comp also has 2 new NSR cams called blower cams. They are specifically made for high psi applications here is a link to the specs.

COMP Cams: STAGE 2 Blower XFI™ NSR (No Springs Required) 3 Valve Camshaft Sets

By the way that is suggested retail the price for those blower cams is the same as the other NSR cams on my site.
