Nasty, what kind of coils are you running??? With the blower, are the stock coils powerful enough to give a good spark?? Plz bear with me, as I'm new to the Supercharger world and just trying to get the best "Bang for the buck". THX

It depends on your spring choice.

Any spring lower than stock will wear out the shocks and struts faster, and pretty much any aftermarket shock/strut combo will perform better than stock.

If you can afford to do the shocks and struts at the same time, do it. If not, it is not absolutely necessary.

With that many miles on the stockers, I would look at replacing them with the spring change.

They most likely will need replacement soon anyway, so you might as well replace them when you have everything apart to save on time and labor.

i just got my mustang about a week ago with 22K+ miles on it. i like the stock exhaust sound but i want it to be more aggressive than it already is. i was thinking i would just throw some straight pipes on it and a CAI with a tune. if im just going for a more aggressive tone, is this a good idea?

Youtube for exhaust notes has everycombo you can think of. Straight pipe is pretty loud and crazy interior noise. I ran no mufflers for awhile. To each his own thou.

First Post N00B :D

Greetings gents.
I've owned my 07 GT Vert for about a year now and I guess Im getting ready to start modding.
I've been a 4wd Jeeper since the mid 1990s so when I decided to start driving a street car again I had to have a Vert, but one of the first things I started investigating is stiffening her up b-cus I likes twistys.
I've been reading the forums so much that the honey-do list is piling up (and she is laughing at me having another addiction) so I think I've got my feet wet enough to start querying the "all knowing " Stang gurus

So Questions.,.,.
1:I find no aftermarket frame bracing for 05-09 S197 stangs. I take that to mean that the stock Vert bracing is sufficient?
2:With Strut tower bracing is there difference between the 2 bolt or 4 bolt bracket models? Is there any evidence that one is better than the other? With a possible twin screw blower in-the-cards/down-the-road , does anyone have any firsthand experience with which models/brands will have clearance for a blower and which don't?

3: While I'm on the subject of blowers the "Supernatural Superstar" article in the May Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords seems to indicate that a Hellion Twin Turbo system develops boost/HP sooner in the curve than than a Vortech supercharger. I'd always thought of a supercharger as beeing the winner in developing power away from a stoplight.
Now bearing in mind that I want my daily driver to remain my daily driver, and the idea that I'm not as interested in a dragstrip monster as wanting to beat the ricers and the beemers in the twisties as well as have the good old fashioned american muscle to pull away from them .,.,. I thought I was sold on the Edelbrock E-force until I started reading these forums.
The claimed gains of 166hp on only 5lbs of boost seemed like a great idea and super efficiency for my road car.
Can anyone explain to my why Kenne Bell is so much more popular with you guys? The more I read the more I get conflicting thoughts about turbos vs blowers and E-force vs roush or KB.

Since this is my first post I have to shout out to Seabee, Navyman, and the Military Crew. PO1 (SW/AW) USN present and accounted for.

I think thts thats long enough for now.
