Going Once, Going Twice, Sold!

Welp I had to watch my girl ride off into the sunset this weekend... I wasnt really expecting it to sell this quickley ( was only on the market for 4 days ). Sold it through the local classifieds. The guy who bought said he had seen me driving around town and love the car and when he said that he saw it in the classified section he said to his wife that it had to be the one he had been seing. Didnt negotiate on the price on bid, gave me what I was asking and drove off. I spent all night friday getting all my goodies off of it to get them sold so I hated to see it go so soon after working on it the two prior days... sold it for 29,700 ( only paid 24,500 for it ), sold the procharger and installed it yesterday ( 3,500 ). Kind of sucks not having it, but Im sure having the aston in the garage will help fil that void... Looks like I will have to start spending some more time witht he 91 now... Just thought I would share my pain with you guys...

Congrats on the sell man... You picked the right time of year to sell you know...
You did the right thing because you cant ever settle for less then you really want or else you will always have that empty space inside...
You will be living it big pretty soon...
Pictures are expected after a FULL detail..

Sucks you sold the STang, but an Aston is a pretty fair trade. We definetly need pics. Shit I don't think we ever even saw pics of your Stang

It's a nice ride, and while I like them, they are not for me. That's a big step up in luxury from a mustang, and you get to continue the convertible life style. Congrats, I'm holding out for a Ferrari Enzo or a porsche GT3, those are 2 must have cars for my lifetime. A bit more realistic, but still unrealistic is the F430 rather than the enzo.. Maybe I could just rent one for a few hours???

lol i read an article somewhere about a company who converted a new edge mustang into an aston martin. you'd think it would look like complete shit, but i gotta say, the car looked like it rolled off the assembly line as an aston martin

I saw an S197 with an aston 6.0l under the hood... Looked pretty bad. Yeah Im a little sad about seing her go and really wasnt prepared for it as this all happened over the last week. Two weeks ago if you would have asked me to sell my car I would have laughed at you, now here I am a week later with only one mustang ( for the fist time in about 8 years ). I will most definitally post up some pics once I get her home. Emay I will definitally have it with me the next time I roll to chicago for some meetings, I want to line it up with elenor to see how they compare... Atleast I will still see my mustang rolling around town ( better not have some punk kid behind the wheel beating her up ) and gave the guy my business card to look me up if any work needs done as I would do it at a cheaper rate than the dealer... Well see, Maybe I will miss the mustang so much I will trade the aston in on a GT500 ( Vista Blue Convertible of coarse )...

Noooo... I dont want to cut off 3 in. then I will simply be average... I hate being average... I could go for the british accent though...

I was sitting here thinking ( about tanything other than work ) and the conversation b/w maverick, goose, and iceman came to mind when goose explained how they got the pic of the mig, when he flipped his hand over and explained that they were inverted... Kind of made me think og you GTARPD3...
