15" wheels on S197
I have searched EVERYWHERE and have not came up with any good info on 15 inch wheels for these cars!!! I know bogart can make them, but i have been told they are WAY too light and "brittle" for street driving..........Greg Weld is supposed to be coming out with some, but i cant find out exactly when........if anyone has any info on a 15 wheel setup for these cars (without spacers and grinding) let me know. thanks

thanks for the welcome, i am from Buna Tx....i do alot of drag racing in Evadale at Ben Bruce Raceway....i work at a Ford Dealer in Orange as a diesel tech. i know a few of the guys on here, thats why im here right now lol.
My 13.50 time was with stock 3.31 gears and stock tires..........i ran the 3.73s on the track twice and had no luck at all with traction........i need to get a set of tires that will stick, but i want 15" wheels first.

hey Roush, yea i seen you the other day showin' off that car!!..............and hey stanglifemike, i have been looking at this site alot and seen you post alot of helpful tips......and yes, the calipers wont clear MOST 15" wheels, but supposedly bogart makes wheels that will fit, and when i called Greg Weld they said they ARE coming out with a 15" wheel that WILL fit with no mods, but i couldnt get a date OR price out of them.

That's pretty much up to your style of driving. They will greatly increase your stopping distance too. I like to go fast in the curves!!!

yea i like the curves too..........but im more of a straight line kinda guy, so it wont bother me that bad........i am just wondering if i can find a tire that is streetable THAT narrow. My buddies S10 doesnt have that skinny of a front runner, and its pushing WELL over 400 hp with a very built 383 stroker.
