And probably lose a cylinder or 2. I wouldn't put nitrous on my car any higher then a 50 shot on a stock motor. After a few mods HELL YAH nitrous is lots of fun! But without those mods it may be fun till you see a rod in your oil pan.
I had a stock 96 Dodge Stratus with a 2.0l single overhead cam engine and I ran a 85hp shot wet system on it daily for 2 years. The stock motor made 132hp so another 85hp on top of that really made it come alive.
You can get by with a lot if things are done right! :wink

No one in this thread is bashing NO2 from what I can tell. We are just trying to spend this mans 500 bones for him. hehe. I just wonder how many bottles I would have used if I had gone that route instead of S/C.

As for the axle back, I'd say go with Borla. Keep in mind everyone has a different idea of what the perfect exhaust sounds like.
The good thing is by now you should be able to find a sound clip for any exhaust setup you can think of for our whips.

Nitrous is good for that extra bump in power but I would take a supercharger over nitrous for sure. I ran through A LOT of bottles and @ $30 a fill, it adds up quick!

SCT tune made a huge difference in the way my car responds....

ok your right back to subject.... i think, like i said earlier. the tuner is the gonna be the best for HP and speed, plus anygrade done later will need a tuning. but exhuast if just wanna sound faster and want more attention.
hey L33T i "heard" from another member (so please, correct me if i am wrong) that borla exhaust pops a lot unless you get better flowing cats with it?

I just bought a JLT CIA and getting the tune done with Xcal2. I have been told that it is going to wake my car up big time. I had a 1998 lincoln mark VIII is the 32 valve V-8, and did the Xcal2 tune to it. WOW. That car woke up big time. If that car has that big of a response to the tune, then i cant wait to see how the 07 stang responds. But i say that the xcal2 by SCT is the way to go.

Yeah nothing like being able to clear a code while still driving!
I had to do that just yesterday, cleared p0153 cruising down the highway. LOL.

Borla pops, I didn't really notice that when I had only axle backs.
Don't get me wrong it does pop sometimes, but I'd be surprised to hear a setup that never did.
