C&L Street vs. C&L Racer CAI??
I'm looking to get a CAI and flash tune soon with the summer almost here. I've looked at Brenspeed and they have the 2 C&L packages. Anyone know what the advantage is of the street cai as opposed to the racer kit? I'm assuming there's some advantage since it costs $60 more.
Of what I see the racer package seems better from a performance standpoint. I was just wondering if I was missing something as to why the street kit costs more?? |

The street cost more becuase it comes with a metal inlet tube instead of the plastic one the racer comes with. you wont get any performace gain from the racer unless you have cams and heads.
Steeda is the best. 90maf instead of 89 and a colder air inlet temp, claiming more horspower. Also C&L has their own package that you could get with their own tunes now for less money. |

What he said about the inlet tube being a different material. JLT is awesome for the money and steeda with the carbon fiber inlet overall looks the best IMO.

As far as I know, the C&L has the biggest inlet tube available. Go with the racer. It is cheaper and will have cooler inlet temps.

matter of fact ill even save you about 500 dollars more, and sell you cheaper long tube headers that will gain you more power then these kooks.

you could be in cams, headers, and uds for about 900 if you listen to me. break out that visa man. forget the delete plates trust me. they dont work. I should have listened to justin burcham. thats what happens when you ignore the guy who built the nhra pro street champion car and buy something becuase the person that is selling it tells you too.
But really whats does bren claim for a hp gain on there c&l package? |
