Unhappy Saturday
Im at a loss for words. I have the plugs, the custom tune, the window switch....everything! these are my ht0's after ONE 100 shot. ive been out in the shop running thru everything....I need help!!! Im running 52 nos 28 fuel just like Ny trex suggests for 45 psi fuel pressure.....AHHH, im obviously lean and detonating still... I just dont know how. My luck is going to run out and im gonna take out an exhaust valve soon if i dont figure this out.

Have you tried data logging you fuel pump just to make sure your not running out on the big end ? Maybe try the brisk plugs ? Steeda has them. You are making me scared to hit my nitrous with that plug problem .

I don't understand the problem now, I have basically the same tune (mine was done on the dyno) only thing I could suggest right now is I was told not to spray unless I had close to 1/2 tank of gas.

Have you tried switching the fuel and nitrous jets? 52 fuel 28 nitrous. I know they used to do this back in the day with good results. I guess your tuner would have told this to you though if it was still a common practice. But why not try it? At least you will KNOW that your getting enough fuel that way. This way you could test to see if its a fuel problem or not.

Doug told me I would need to run the jetting he wants. He runns bigger fuel jets than the kit said .

Hrmm... Maybe this is a fuel pump problem then?? Is there a data log or do you have a fuel pressure guage? Whats your static fuel pressure? Is it rock steady? Have you changed your fuel filter lately? Where are you getting your Gas? Just a few questions that popped up in my head. Forgive me if you have checked all of this but its just food for thought.

that sucks man.
but i got nitrous and i never got a tune for it, talked to three different performance shops and they said to just use my 87 tune and run 93 gas, if you are running a 93 gas tune with it, it is messing up your timing and that is most likely what is doing it. |

data logged last night 39 psi is typical under load and at a rest with an occasional spike to 40 here and there(91 octane tunw not dougs nitrous.... i pulled out the nitrous tune ..replace the 2 burnt plugs and took it for a drive too see if i hurt it). The tune is a 91 octane tune and i run 92 in it...maybee i should ask Doug to knock the tune back to 87 or 89 or somthing. How do I post my data log up here?...

yea i'd say 19#er's could be hurting you... i would spray anything w/o addresing the fuel system... you have fuel pressure safty switch dont you? how much timing is it getting at 4950-redline?
