axle back question
If you order just lets say a magnaflow axle back, does it bolt in or does it require cutting and welding?

axle backs are cake. they just bolt right in.
I have Mac axle backs on mine and it took less then 1/2 an hour to bolt up in the driveway. |

sweet..i dont work at a shop any more so no more access to a lift....on my mach i put a whole new catback system on it(borla) and that was a plug in play deal, but if ya'll say the whole catback doesnt add to these cars and the axle back is just for the sound.

catback is just new pipe basically. They give no gains what so ever and are a waste of money. Now if you really want sound, get the axle back and an Off road h or x pipe

dont want to much sound...just want a meaner rumble.... i had an o/r h and borlas on the mach and they were to much, so if i dont gain anything with a midpipe(powerwise) i prob will leave it alone,

Catback = waste of money
axle back = just for sound o/r midpipe = ~10hp I suggest the Borla stingers and an o/r prochamber, or they also have a prochamber that bolts to the stock cats.

+1 on Bamachips, and on the Stingers. Check out the FRPP's to save a few bucks.

i'm partial to the sound of magnaflows....actually i like corsa the best but they are to expensive....and i'm still up in the air about a mid pipe...and still on tuners so many to pick from (bama, brenspeed, vmp, trick tuners, etc etc)
