Washed Car, took some pics *new suspension*

So over the weekend I installed the BMR lowering kit and Tokico Hp's. The install went pretty smoothley with the exception of a few hick ups. No big deal but for amateurs beware. I am an amateur and it was no picnic. It took me both Saturday and most of Sunday to finish and I wasnt working slowly either. It was also 100 f ing degrees all weekend. I lost like 10 pounds of liquid.

As for the suspension it is great! Corners and handles awesome. The ride is a little rough but I expected that being that much lower. The thing feels like its on rails. The steering is alot more responsive, I should have done this a year ago!!

As for the BMR kit I dont think you really need it. The upper strut mounts looked almost brand new for a year and a half old car and I didnt even need the camber bolts. Also the rear axle basically stayed in the same spot. I just made the adjustable the same length as the factory.

Another bit of information it is impossible to do this without spring compressors. I tried doing it like everyone said with jacking up the suspension and then unbolting everything. But you cant get to the bolt with a wrench and hold the center shaft of the strut also. ALso you cant jsut take a socket wrench and un bolt it because the center shaft of the strut just spins.

Enough with the talking already here are some pictures. Enjoy!!

Before:

During: The springs were much shorter. These are the springs in the rear.

After install:

I like your car man, looks great!

Especially like the flat black spoiler! I was considering doing that to mine and I may be convinced now.

Yup painted them myself. I got new ones and painted those then I took the ones on my car off and put the painted ones on. Took a weekend. I painted my horse to. I think I am going to change the emblems though.

Got it off ninosport.com. Only place ive seen with a prepainted flat black spoiler. Also roush sells their spoiler on their site and you can get it matte black. Its kinda pricey though.

Dude, give your thread a little time yet, the forums have been dead today for some reason. Good weather?

Car looks fantastic lowered! Also great to hear how it handles - at 5,600 miles my suspension is now noticeably broken in and I'd like to get that "on rails" feeling back again.

Nice job and nice report man, enjoy the new ride.

Nice stance! You ever thought about tying in the door handles and the fuel door with the flat black?
