BMR Sway Bar Delete...
Is this suitable for daily driving?? Can you really tell a difference without the sway bar??

You wouldn't notice a huge difference, but you would feel it. It you like to the occasional high speed corner, I wouldn't. I would look at the BMR Stage 1 weight reduction kit. It gets nearly 100 pounds off of the front of the car.

but getting rid of that sway bar shifts the weight back nicely to the rear.....good for high RPM launches! I assume thats why mustang89 is asking...on his quest into the 11's

This is the kit I was talking about.
BMR 05-07 GT Ultimate Weight Saving Package Level 1 [LW001] - $2,345.95 It's really expensive though. You could buy everything sepate and not have to pay for the brakes.

sway bar delete and light weight radiator support is 26 lbs off at 175$
K member is 20 lbs off at 499$ A Arms is 11 lbs off at 399$ thats 57lbs off and i bet those lightweight calipers take off A LOT because those front calipers weigh a ton... count in spare tire removal at the track which is 32lbs (i weighed it haha) rear seat delete which with all the seat belt hardware is like 25-30lbs we got a total of 114lbs AND im getting a second spare tire rim out of an S197 and im betting skinnies to mount on those rims hahaha...sounds ghetto but it works and is a lot cheaper

Yeah, but do you want to pay $2300 to get rid of 100 pounds? You could do a rear seat delete and some light weight racing seats plus the radiator support and other stuff for that much.

oh yeah exactly...i don't think the k member and a arms are worth it for the money to be honest...last resort maybe....
Im gonna do the rear seat delete and look at corbeau seats and see how much they save...i know the drivers side seat with all that electronics and motors weighs A LOT....and those seats still look good so...

just some longer cables and a rear-mount battery box...........and some good engineering to get it all to work out right, its not that hard.........my good friend jared has the swaybar delete on his daily driver, its not that bad he says, just dont take any sharp corners at 100+ mph........

the sway bar delete is a must for track, and on the street it is not bad 2 days of driving and you will be use to it. all i can say is just do it and you wont regret it.also dont buy the BMR it is way over priced I purchased the GMS from uprproducts.com for 93.00 shipped and it fits great. jared

I removed my sway bar about 6 months ago and never put it backk on the car, don't really see much difference in daily driving.
a little body roll but not enough to talk about.

everyone I've talked to about them say they are ok for daily driving. You probably don't want to go with one if you a big road track guy. Good for drag racing though.
