Saw a Shelby GT500 today

Saw a Shelby GT500 today in my hometown. I live in South Jersey. It was white w/Blue Stripes. Not sure of the year. QQ, how much do new GT500s go for? How rare are they?

They are around $50k. They aren't common, but they aren't exactly rare either.

Must be nice to live where you are. Shit, around here I don't see many GT500's, and they are usually priced around $70-75K here. That's New York for ya though. Hell we got a KR coming soon to one of our local Fords, and the damn thing is gonna be close to $100K, which is bizarre. I don't care whose name is on it, or how sick the car is, because in my book it's still a Mustang, and isn't worth that kind of money imho.

I've seen two, one trailered...the other driven by an older chick. Too expensive for me to even consider owning. Maybe in a few years.

You can find them for MSRP if you look hard enough (maybe even a little below if you look real hard).

like last week i wachted i am legend and the next day on the way to school i saw a red and white gt500 on the highway....so i speed up to it cuz the highway was open

it was a fucking old lady (like 50-60)

she smiled at me and gunned it...i didnt even try lol

My neighbor has a white and blue one... He came home on leave from his 1 year deployment bought it for 70g's then went back for another 6 months... His wife takes it out once a month or so... I can't wait till he gets back... haha... I wanna run 'em... haha...

2-white with blue stripes
2-red with white stripes
1-solid black convertible
1-blue with white stripes
1-dark gray with darker gray stripes

awww i guess i am lucky to get to see these things almost every day.......i work at a dealer and we have sold 3 or 4 of them in the past year..........the nicest one i have seen was the orange with black stripes........OMG i wanted this guys car lol.........we have a solid red one at the dealer right now, just got it in off the truck.........they told me it was going to go for 60 to 65 thousand dollars..........i told them if they would sell it for MSRP i will buy it. Also, we have a guy bringing us a Ford GT to work on, its got some recall on it.........i cant WAIT to see this thing up close.

I not only get to look at one every day, but I get to work on it as time allows (shop demo car). When I get the Bullitt to have that much power, I'll be pleased!

I see them a lot here in Scottsdale... They are the low-end cars in this area. I wish I could turn off the reasoning part of my brain and get one. My girlfriend almost had me talked into buying one. The dealerships here have a lot of them, and they always tack on the 'market value' of 10$-15$k. Once I showed her the 'market value' add on, she changed her mind, lol.
