20 lb boost dyno video


I wasn't there for the dyno. Just received this video of the 20 lb boost dyno. Glad the car was securely tied down.

time for a bigger turbo....boost starts falling off and so does horsepower at 5000 rpm

I think the 76 mm is good for about 800+ rear wheel. He might have let off the gas early...video shows that going into heavy boost didn't last but 3 maybe 4 seconds. Certainly other users of a 76 are in the 800+ range.

I still think we have minor fuel issues that is limiting the workout...but we all decided that this was a good place to be right now.

I would concur...haha the driveline is really going to be tested with those numbers. Glad to see everything is working out.

Did he tell you about any fuel issues? What were the injector duty cycles and fuel pump duty cycle? Did he have to turn the KB Boost-A-Pumps up to keep up with the boost?

and with a manual car I think that number would be mid 700's but that converter and trans are killing the dyno numbers. When you bringing it to the track to get some numbers with it?
