has anyone had gear failure at 40,000 miles mine sound bad they whine all the time.

that is correct...they came along with my Hawk HPS brake pads that i bought figured i would need it as well...kicks ass makes burnouts a hell of a lot easier....

dual sol. unit? i duno if they make one for the 08's... unless its the same.. i've seen two different models.

Do you absolutely have to get the dual solenoids, and if so, why??? I was thinking of just making my own with an old nitrous solenoid and some tubing.

no its just a 1 solenoid unit and beleive me it does the jobs very very well hahaha

good idea... just need some brake line and 1/4" flanges.
a dual unit prevents a 'backwash' one the abs distrobution block, effectively rendering it useless or damaged.

07stanggt - -- i got truck tires lol... they abosultley suck. think i might drown them in vht haha
