Anyone have extra cash?

The reason I'm asking is that landmark ford in tigard oregon has a Parnelli Jones edition Saleen sitting on their showroom floor waiting for a new home. I was in looking for a new vehicle for my wife (the Edge, gutless wonder with worse gas mileage than our '04 tahoe), and the salesman walked us by this beautiful car knowing that I've bought mustangs from them before. Anyway, sorry for the chick like blabber, he offered to sell me the PJ stang for 50k, 0% financing for 72 months. That's a steal for a car that listed for 69.5k. If you have an interest, track em down.

Correct me if Im wrong but couldn't you purchase a GT and mod it out to make it equivalent of that version (hp/torgue) for cheaper? I wouldn't spend 50k on a stang just for a name like PJ. I mean even a gt500 would be a stretch for me. But thats just my .02

Its not just the Hp (400) and Tq (390) sometimes. True watts link rear end, 302ci hand built engine, racecraft suspension, entirely different interior, and one of the last true Saleens (Steve Saleen no longer has anything to do with the company). Anyone can build a GT with cash and the internet, only a few (500) will own this car. If you just want power and have cash, the gt500 is currently the best thing going (still doesn't have the bite of the terminators IMHO), but the PJ truly is awesome.

Yes I couldnt agree more, it's an instant classic. If you can afford it do it, I love everything about that car and wouldnt change a thing on it if I owned one. Post some pic if you get it

It's my favorite high end Mustang and from the tests I've read about it, everyone that tested it said it was the best all around Mustang they've driven. I love the 70's look of it from the flat black paint, to the rear louvers, and especially the chrome trim around the front and rear. Also great wheels and forged engine. Wish I could afford it, that's a great price on it.

50k with that kinda financing is a decent deal for one of the most balanced stangs out there. Its also one of the most unique and limited stangs. If you look at it from a whole then its worth it, but from only a performance stand point gt500 is a better deal.

I'd take it over the gt500. It's got the boss 302 in it with forged internals. Throw some boost on that car, and you have a beast!
