2006 Mustang Headers

I was just wondering which type of heads would be the best for my 06 mustang GT. I plan on supercharging it this summer and wondered if certain types of heads would get hotter than other?

Heads are completely different from headers.

Beyond that, I don't know S***.

The two top shelf brands are Kooks and ARH, but the cheaper alternatives are fine too. It all depends on what you are looking to spend.

Bassani makes a good product they've been around for 50 years... i just dont like the design... independant runners and flanges? just looks odd and ineffective to me. i just like a FULL flange pulling on the head.

considering the power gains from LT's..... which will increase exponentionally with your supercharger. You could consider these or some bbk's. they are ceramic coated and going to last you just as long. I can do some real good prices on anything from MAC right now. long tubes and o/r prochamber for less then kooks headers without a mid pipe would cost you.

MAC Long Tube / Race Ceramic Coated Headers

bang for buck and all. I have kooks myself and certainly the fit and finish is great, but for the extra 400 you pay for the headers alone? well for me its dollar for hp thing.

07 can you PM me some prices on the MAC setup? I'm not far from you, so without shipping would be great.

You'll be fine with Mac or BBK setup, maybe even JBA, but Kooks and ARH are supposed to be the best.

yes it would. basically you would have to order the legs that come with part number pc4605, which is the procamber that fits the long tubes. What you got is pc2105 which is the same peice prochamber without the legs is all. The legs that you would need cost 149.50 retail, would have to check but you know i can do better then that for you. and ultimatley you would be spending the same money. part number pc4605, prochamber to long tubes is retail 449 and part number pc2105 which is what you got is 299 retail, you know what i sold it to you for.

Thats the good thing about the way you did it. Like i said you have options down the road now without buying the same parts twice.
