gt500 super snake

looking at the super snake - it's nasty! i think the look blows away any other car i've ever seen. i think corvettes and vipers are cool and all, but i think the super snake takes a bite

out of all of those with ease.

nope a new vette z06 and zr1 and viper srt10 will kick it's ass, but it does LOOK sweet but the price is still high

the price is such a deterrent. but, people will pay it (including myself) to have the top mustang.

Agreed, the super snake is the sexiest current stang, but the I think the Z06 still out performs it overall, not even gonna mention the ZR1 or Viper.

Overall the Z06 will outperform the SuperSnake. The 725hp SS will probably have a better 1/4 time but everything else would go to the Z06.

I sure do, the KB setup that makes 705 rwhp for the gt500 and people are running 11.1 @ 130 and a Corvette with a good driver running 10.7 @ 127 and that was 488 rwhp

damn those vettes are badass. Big factor is the weight and the LS7 engine is just amazing.

power is power. has nothing to do with the ls7 engine. he just said a 488hp car ran a faster time the 705hp, i find it hard to beleive myself. Id like to see of vid of a stock z06 doing a 10.7.

swap out those freaking 3.31s for some 3.73s in the gt500 and see what happens. add some minor suspension work and its over for the zo6 in the quarter.

We were comparing the stock Z06 to the 725hp SuperSnake. the Z06 is a better overall performing car, I know the Z06 can run mid-11s stock, i've never seen 10s though. Weight plays a big factor in all this, the vette only weighs 3190lbs and the engine does matter...the LS7 makes most of its power in the higher rpms. It is awesome for a n/a engine. The Supersnake would probably beat it in the 1/4 mile though and with the right suspensions additions it might be able to keep up with a Z06 on the track.

Because the ZR1 is faster than the Z06. And the ZR1 is a low 11 sec car stock, so I doubt the Z06's stock are in the 10's. Maybe mid to high 11's, but not 10's.
