Want to get full exhaust. What exactly do I need?

And where should I get it? (located in Edmonton, Alberta).

This is actually for my brother, and not for me (won't get my car back for atleast 3 weeks anyways). He wants an o/r H pipe (which brand gives best sound/best power output), Borla stinger axel backs, and long tube headers (which would be the best brand for this?).

Is there anything else that would be needed to replace all the stock exhaust? Also, would prefer to get this all from the same place. The car is an 08 Mustang GT (everything is stock).

Thanks for any help.

If he wants o/r set up he will need mil eliminators they are 59 from me around the same from other places. Headers, depends on what brand you want. Thats all you need really, gaskets for the headers.

You ever consider the mac long tubes with o/r prochamber?

Well I'm still undecided what I am doing with mine when I get it back, but my brother is really set on an o/r h. He also seems to like the borla stinger axel backs. I'm thinking for headers, probably Hooker long tubes.

And what are mil eliminators?

thanks man. Yea I will if he is interested. If I can talk him outta that H pipe

Oh to answer your other question as far as power, all long tubes are going to be about the same. As for the sound..... I dont know that there is a difference between one header to another, or one H pipe to another, they all will sound good with the stingers.

They have to do with the 02 sensors, if you dont get them you will get a check engine light. You could turn the CEL off with a tuner, but then you would run real rich. You need the mil's.

Has he heard a prochamber? Its basically sounds like an h, deep throaty, but it flows better then the h, it will make more power. Tell him to listen to some clips if he hasnt heard one.

Ah, alright. I will talk to him and see what he thinks. Are you able to get Borla stingers as well? Would prefer to get everything from one place then multiple spots. But I'll definently let you know.

Yea I can stingers. I can get hooker headers as well if thats what he wants. I got a distributor with both, can't check on prices till tomorrow though. Considering its not something i normally carry or buy direct, dont know how good my prices will be.

You can also check out the vendor section of this website and see if someone already has what your looking for. You know if they are a direct dealer they might have a better price. But if you want ill be happy to check it out in the morning for you.

Im not trying to push the prochamber on him. But if he hasnt heard it he should check it out. H pipe guys like prochambers, its the same sound, some think better, and like i said, they flow better then the H.

I like the X myself

I have the Bassani modular off road X pipe and axle backs. Great quality, fit is a bit of a hassle, and the sound is great. Only problem was when I put on the blower RAAAAAASPY

what set up do you have? yea you should get mils. It wont be as rich. best case is to get it tuned. If you have a tuner already then find a tuner that will use that and spend a couple hundred to get it tuned. You went o/r for power, make the most of it.

how will you run rich by turning off the back o2's? the only reason they are there is to make sure the cats are working...

Might have something to do with a limp-home mode in the ECU to prevent engine damage...Most cars run rich if they have a CEL...
