did they make a shelby gt350 or just a shelby gt?

Hey guys did they ever label any cars shelby gt 350 or were they always shelby gt for the ones that arnt the gt500?

I know there was a hertz one not sure if that was labeled gt350?

only GT500's and Shelby GT's in the 07-08 models

Oh you mean lately or back in the day? If you mean lately no. In 06 they had the shelby GTH which was the hertz renta racer, then they had the shelby gts starting in 08 i beleive. I think they cam out pretty early though like early summer 07.

if you mean back in the day, yea the gt350 was first then the 500.

You might be right. I mean they came out in the summer of 07 but they were 08 models I think, but im not sure. I dont remember the shelbys being out in fall of 06 when I bought my 07.

why did you see new one labeled that way? You can really special order a lot of crap on those cars from shelby. I know a guy that ordered one from shelby with a paxton and it had a sticker on it that said Shelby GT/SC, from shelby. I guess if you ask them they might put a GT350 sticker on it, so dont bet anyone any money that they didnt get it that way

a guy on this forum has gt350 on the side of his car but i guess he put it on there i think its blue

thought it looked cool but if they made it 350 from the factory it better be faster than the shelby gt

yea.... no they didnt call them shelby gt350s. Mr shelby probably considers that name sacred. That is the car that made the legend on the race track not the gt500.

Mine says "GT 350", only because I bought it used and the guy I bought it from had it put on there. I'm probably going to remove it at some point... unless I get up to 350 HP, then maybe I'll keep it
