drag radials
I think i want to get some dr's for my stock 17inch bullits for the track. MTs is guess since i will just throw them on when im going to the drag strip, drive it there with them on and change them after i get home. dont want to have to get slicks and change them there. I hear the mts grab the best. Whats the best size for the 17x8 inch rim and i dont want anything taller then what i have now affecting my final ratio. How much better will they grip compared to the 275 nittos streets i have now?

The nitto tire is no comparison to either the MT et street or the M&H radial.
Nittos run small, so if you like the current size/ratio, even though it's a bit inaccurate in it's listed measurements, then come down a bit with the MT's. I personally would run a 295/45/17 and call it a day. |

I don't even know how much I have honestly, not here for that.. just hang for the banter and offer assistance if I can..
I believe the height will be nearly identical to stock if I remember correctly.. Let me link over their sizing chart: Doesn't work = here you go in a link to their size chart: Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels |

Yo 07stang, I'm a tire wholesaler so I can get you the hookup for nittos, or pretty much any performance tire you need. Hit me up with a PM, and we can talk.

Didn't think the 295's would fit the stock 17x8 rim.

I've run both Mickey's and M&H's. They are both awesome tires. The M&H's do run narrow, but don't let that fool you, they hook like crazy. I consistently run 1.76 60's with the 275/50's. If I had more power I have no doubt I could get 1.5 60's. I run them on 17x9 bullits. The 325's would probably be too wide for stock rims.
Either way,you can't go wrong. The only thing I can suggest is to go with a 28" tire. The 275/40 Mickey's hook great but look a little funny since they are a little short. |

having a 28" tire killed my top end... im running v6 wheels on a 26x11.5.16 et streets.....for the stock 17's i would do 26x11.5.17 et street...as soon as i order moser axles im gonna go with 26x11.5.17 or 28x11.5.17 et street on a 17x10.5 fr500 wheels.. i would go et streets bro.
