I'm not a fan of the GTAs. The stingers sound way better IMO.

sounds good, but you shouldn't have it in the garage. it amplifies the sound and i wonder if it really sounds like that on the regular road. i love going through inclosed parking garages though. car alarms everywhere.

I heard the Ford GTA mufflers on a Bullitt they have at a dealer here. Sounded great sitting there but didn't get to hear it moving. Thanks for the advice.
I had the gta's on my car. I liked them and got a lot of compliments. its an underated set up. Look me up when you decide on your exhuast. Espeically any mac or mangaflow stuff. You need some long tubes with a prochamber to go with that s/c. I get good prices on the american racing headers too be they are expensive headers.

Here's a video of what my Borla Stingers & Pypes O/R H sound like. Note that this is not my video though. It is Tacobills video, who btw has awsome videos of his car that you should check out on youtube. His vids, will help convince you that Stingers are the way to go.

That sounded pretty good. A couple more things considering. How is the cabin sound at highway speed windows up AC on and digging the shaker with the Borlas? Normally, on a small displacement engine like these, I learned that they give up alot of low end power with low restriction exhaust. Trying to figure out if these cars benefit from the exhaust at high rpm vs the loss at low rpm. Can you guys tell me what you have noticed along those lines?
I did notice that on my friends GT, he would get a slight bog if he hit the gas hard at low rpm. The whipple will always do that because there is a sudden change in pressure before it spools up. But after that delay it hits pretty hard. I only plan on going to 5,800 to shift with limiter set at 6K. From what I've read, the rods in these motors can handle the pressure of the boost but rpms above 6000 are the failing point under pressure. Any thoughts?

I didn't really get any gains and no loss either. Just a better sound, and better breathing for my car. The only way you will really feel a loss down low, is if you get an O/R H, then you might feel it a little bit, but others mods make up for it anyway, like Gears.
