I like the look but honestly the price is some @55. I mean unless there is a blower under that hood, upgraded brakes and a nice suspension or there is no way I am going to pay 13K over a loaded GT.
Its up to you as always but really think of what you get for what you are spending, for that price do a huge search and find a GT500 there are some dealerships out there selling them for MSRP which is about $45-47K or get a Roush SC either way you get handeling, braking, and power.

Like the silver and black paint and window scoops, but price tag? I think I would go Cervini with blower if I were going custom. Other wise GT 500.

Not bad! I really like the work Foose does but the black ride is better than the red IMO

for what you get it is too much. you really are only paying for the name when the price is 20k above a regular GT. yeah if it had a supercharger then maybe. does it at least come with a brake kit?

There are 3 on the showroom of the local stealership. 2 coupes and a vert. All are sporing the 2 tone paint which is pretty cool but not worth an extra $5000 IMO. With Roush, Saleen, and now Foose making specialty Mustangs, they are really not all the special or rare.

Check out this link to see all that comes on the Foose: http://www.uniqueperformance.com/FooseStallion.aspx
I have one that is at Unique Performance ready to ship to my dealership next week. I ordered it with the Power Pack and stripe paint. I did not pay 55k like some are saying on here. 45K but mine is not a vert. I think they look amazing! I will post pictures once I have it!!! That black and white two tone paint job is amazing! Wish I could have seen that before I placed my order! |

I Work for this Local Dealership that has these Foose Mustangs. I was wanting some opinions on these, Thank You for them! I have Drove 2 Shelby GT 500's (I am the only one allowed to drive them at our dealership) I think the Shelby is Cool But The Vinyl Stripes SUCK! We sold them around 15k over Sticker. Two More still Ordered, already Sold of Course. but THINK this out 500HP Shelby for 61k to 62k according to the Saleen Website SC Starts at 59k and up. I would take either one of them. The FOOSE mustangs average Price 45k to 46k add a ProCharger for 5k you have Over 600HP and You Have the Looks and the Collectibility of a CHIP FOOSE desgined Mustang that is currently a Limited Edition Production and destined to be worth Money down the Road.
The 2 Red 2006 Foose Mustangs we have are 2 of a total of 53 Foose Stallions Produced. These are also more than appearance upgrades. They have had Brake work done, Have had Suspension Modifications Done They Handle Awesome. Again thanks all for any comments, NO I am not a Salesman, I am a Certified Ford Tech. |

Such great info! I appreciate hearing your opinion as well! I do think the Shelby is amazing but I was looking for something custom without all the HP! I just wanted that extra something to make my car stand out in looks, handling and performance. I am just a regular person, not a race car driver! For me, the Foose was everything I wanted in my new Mustang! To each his own and it's all good!

I would save the extra cash and build one yourself. You'll find more pleasure in building it. I like Foose 's ride except for his stripe down the fender.

I saw this one on the net this last summer called "cinnamon". Beautiful. I don't like the red ones at all. I saw the OVERHAULIN' show when they did the black one and fell in love with it...until i saw one the same color as mine. (posted on Album page). Way too much money, though.

After all, it's all about turning some heads, ain't it?

why yes, yes it is about turning some heads. i would rather turn heads with a sleeper that looks like it is just a stock mustang with some rims sitting a little lower. cuz you know the heads sure turn when there is plenty of go and very little show.

From what I haev read about them from various sites...You are paying for the name...That is about it...Your paying around 15K (or more) for a mustang with a col paint job, a bunch of new pretty body parts, baer rotors, a decent suspension and a name plate... I understand the collectors side of it...But IMHO they dont hold a candle to the Saleen or Shelby in the Perfromance Side of the deal... Personally I dont care for the Foose Stangs at all...Waste IMHO... |

Well I disagree. I am a Certified Ford Tech and I also Have a Good Friend that Works for Procharger and has for many years. Do you know that Ford Motor Company shipped them a 2005 4.6 Mustang Engine to build a Procharger for this engine and do you also know that they set these up to run continually for 8 - 10 hours to test them for reliability.
Also do you know that this following statement is True: A ENGINE USES FUEL TO RUN AND A MOTOR USES ELECTRICITY TO RUN Everyone is entitled to their own opinion thats what makes this the United States of America. YOu could even make a trip to www.Procharger.com to read some more info there is a guy on there that has 670 hp from a Stock Engine and NO Problems. you are talking anywhere from 8 - 15 lbs boost. I have drove 2 New Shelby Gt 500's and I wasn't impressed with the Performance. My Old 40 Chevy Coupe with a Built 357 with around 425hp has more balls than what these cars felt like they had. The Foose Stallions are not going to be bought by young kids that are into Racing. The Best thing there is to buy a Base Gt and Build it, but they will be bought by those who want the Looks, The Style, Collectibility and have Pride in owning a Chip Foose Designed Mustang. They First GT500 we sold went to Michigan, He flew in Drove it home and was going to Park it and Not Drive it again and the other left in a enclosed trailer and was going to go spend its life in a garage and not be driven also. |
