Does it matter if you beat him with whats yours or not? did he say you couldnt use anything else? he said he would win...and he would put 1k on it. I would grab the spray and take the money...after that, its mod city.

yea, ok, think about the logic of that.

I can challenge anyone to a race in my sn-95, and then roll up in my dads ZO6 and shut everyone up.

seriously, how is his car faster if he had to borrow another part from a friend to make it that fast. it's not really his car that's beating him, it's his car and a borrowed nitrous system that beat him.

NAh for sure you'll beat him. Just practice when your getting on the freeway. In 1/8 you'll take him. Just dont mess up. 1k is a lot on the line to miss 2nd!

you'll win if your a so-so driver, our low end and top end is better then those cars. even if you fail off the line, you will reel him in.

and i agree you cant really mod your car. he didnt challenge a modded stang to a race. but if you are going to mod it dont do something he can see. gears, you will kill him and he will never know, a tune would help and he would never know. but if he sees the cai. he will complain. nissan guys are whiners anyway.

Adding drag radials doesnt change the car...it is still stock, just different tires

Got this from dragtimes. Stock mustangs seem to run around 13.8 bone stock, some are around 13.5 with a good driver, so I'd have to call this a driver's race. However, the G35 in that video ran 8.7 in the 1/8th and only trapped 101, so it seems to also have some ballz down low.

I say that you got him. since it's the 1/8th mile your torque will trump his top end. And +1 on borrowing some drag radials.

Yeah it is. I have driven these before and you can tell there is a considerable difference in torque.

ch53 is right get the tune or if u dont want a tune get an AIRAID CAI no tune required and that will give u 15-17 rwhp and 21 pounds of torque u will smoke him , but u need to practice on ur hole shot ,running a 1/8 u have no room for farged up hole shot ,at least running the 1/4 u can make up for it!
