4.10's questions

if I was to buy the 4.10 racing gears would it work with all the stock parts except intake? Oh and I'd need a tune right?

The only thing you need to have done when you change the gears is recalibreat the speedometer. Most of the hand held flash devices like the Xcal 2 will allow you to adjust the gear setting so it automatically adjust the speedometer.
You don't need a tune or a new intake, all the gears do is change the ammount of revolutions of the axle.

I think you are in Austin right??? There should be at least one good speed shop there that could install them, but the calibration for your speedo is the thing. If you only have $500 then you wouldn't be able to buy both the gears and the tuner. Don't think it would do any damage to anything if you had to wait to buy the tuner. Just know your speedo will be wrong.
