not hard at all..........loosten the mufflers up and slide all that towards the rear of the car. slide the over axle pipes out of the stock h pipe and move them back too (or whichever way you can go with them) ........then just unbolt all the 02 sensors (3 of them will need to be removed).......then the 4 nuts holding the h pipe to the manifolds.....easy as can be, should take about 1-2 hours set up and everything. and it will sound WAY BETTER lol........hope you enjoy the noise!!

shouldnt be much different, hell, it might be easier with a v6.........i have personally never messed with the exhaust on one. The same concept should apply, move anything AFTER the h pipe out of the way, get the h pipe out, install new one.........easy as 123

Make sure you have some WD-40 handy! Those exhaust manifold bolts are gonna be mighty hard to take out. I had an air impact tool and it had problems removing it lol (I didn't use WD-40.) I started at around 2:30 and was done at around 7 sharp, but I was also standing up and stretching and whatnot. The hardest part was getting those damn O2 sensors disconnected from the manifold because it was so cramped, getting my hand in there was a bitch! Then again, I have a 2001, yours might be a little cleaner to work on, I don't know. Good luck!

shouldn't take you long at all bro. If i were you, i would wait till you got my overaxle pipes so you could do it all at once. that way you could just take everything off and put the new stuff all back in.

Well first you have to unplug them before you remove the pipes. It's two plastic thingies that are connected and it's like a plug. You hold it with your hand, press the plug and pull. Try removing the two in the center first as they'll be right in front of your face, you'll see what I mean. A screwdriver will come in handy when removing the two by the manifold (you'll press in the little pin with the screwdriver and PULL!!!)

The stock H-pipe is one big piece, going from the manifold to the catback. It's not supported, once you unscrew it, it's only gonna be held in place by the screws, but not the bolts. You're gonna have to wiggle it out.

Quick question guys. I too am installing my O/R H this weekend.. I was looking at it the other day to see what I would have to do. You guys said you have to unplug the O2 sensors and that its a bitch to do so....and from the looks of it, they looked hard to unplug. Why can't you just unscrew them from the mid pipe??? don't they just plug into the O/R Pipe???

Nope. One just after the passenger side manifold and then one on each side after the cats.
