does any1 know?
hey does any1 know how to tell if the car i misfiring???? because in my 79 chevy pickup i can tell if it is misfiring by putting my hand around the exit pipe of the exhaust and if it has an unconstang flow then it is misfiring but i cant tell in the s197

You should be able to tell if a car is misfiring. If it is and you cant feel it ( not taking shots at your compentancy ) you will throw a code...

it will throw a code end the check engine light will come on.

well it came on the other day...and i got the codes and i thougtht it was my o2 sensors because i got p0420 bank1 and p0430 bank 2 which means passenger and driver side...so i just unplugged the battery and it went away...
