Thanks guys and I see 07 30hp with no tune more power possible with a tune. I guess if you are going to invest in the Cams just get it tuned.

well tunes cost money, so thats easier said then done for some people but the good thing about the comps is they are the first and so far only truly drop in cams for the 3vavles and so far have shown performance gains comparable to vsr cams.

As 07procharger can attest you will notice the gains as soon as you start the car.

The hot rod cams are some awesome sounding cams for our cars though, once he gets it right i havent heard a cam on our car that sounds better. if you want the lopey sound.

Fish, in your sig you have the JLT CAI from Doug at bamachips. I think Doug will give you free re-tunes for your add ons. He also sells NSR Comp Cams. Might wanna get in touch with him about getting you a free tune for the cams. That is if you got the XCal from him also

I think its worth the couple hundred for the custom dyno tune if you are already sinking a grand into cams and install. Might as well get all the HP/TQ possible out of them!

cant be done right by email man. and the specs on the comp nsr cams are totally different then the hot rod. any tunes he may have developed for them would be useless on the hotrod cams.

Good power curve is the most important though keep that in mind when you decide. 10 more up top for a sacrifice down low might not be what you want though. just make sure you and your tuner knows what you want. dyno quenn or street fighter

hard to get more up top without tuneing that away bro. these cars are optimized for that with stock cams. Thats why im sticking with my 30hp. been on the dyno tuneing already, tweaked it a little since that 352 run but not much. I like the way it is. just changed the f/a mostly was a little to lean with that email tune.
