Need even more advise

Well I have decided on purchasing a Whipple 500hp kit for my 08..... But the current procal isn’t released yet for the 08 until the middle of next month I think they said. Until then I’m still looking at Clutches, driveshaft’s and various other parts. Not sure what brands to go with and how much I should spend on all of this. Any recommendations I would appreciate it .

clutches vary depending on your driving style. Spec and Centerforce seem to be good. Aluminum driveshafts shed alot of rotational weight letting you rev quicker. get in touch with 07stanggt he can hook you up.

If your getting a whipple HO I would work on the suspension. What good is all that power if your spinning those tires all day long.

yea i gotta agree with him there, your already going to be overpowered. driveshaft and clutches dumping more power to the wheels, you might want to look at some suspension and tires to put what you got to the road first.

what all are you doing to the suspension?

And if thats all taken care of then yea like he said, centerforce is good up to 600plbs of tq and still streetable, i researched that today for someone else. spec is a good clutch as well, depending on your power level, you would need the spec II at least and some people said it was a little stiff. centerforce dual friction i can do for 320 with shipping. dont know what other places are selling them for. the spec IIs look to be about 330 or 350 depending on where you look.

The drive shaft, spydershaft or coast, modular depot use to have some old spydershafts from before the price went up for 499, but now I dont know. they retail for 579, dont know what prices are around on them now. coast is going to cost you 550 from me, dont know what other places are selling them for.
